Who is orbiting the moon…NASA captured the picture of the silver object

New Delhi. Countries around the world are exploring the moon, which is known as the natural satellite of the Earth. India’s Chandrayaan-3 landed near the South Pole of the moon last year. NASA has already landed its astronauts on the moon about five decades ago. Recently, NASA shared a picture of the moon, in which it was claimed that some suspicious object is revolving around the moon. NASA claims that this silver colored object has been revolving around the moon for the last 15 years.

A picture of this object was also shared by NASA. The identity of the object captured last month by NASA’s Lunar Reconnaissance Orbiter (LRO) has now been revealed. LRO has been orbiting and studying the Moon for 15 years. Some people may think that it is an unidentified flying object (UFO), but it is not.

What is this flying thing?
NASA revealed that LRO took several images of the Korea Aerospace Research Institute’s Danuri Moon Orbiter last month. NASA said that the two spacecraft overtook each other in opposite directions between March 5 and 6, 2024. Both spacecraft were traveling in nearly parallel orbits. Danuri is Korea’s first spacecraft on the Moon and has been in lunar orbit since December 2022.

Who is orbiting our moon...NASA captured the picture of a flying silver object, is it a UFO?

Image captured in 0.338 milliseconds
LRO was launched in 2009 and has collected significant data with its seven powerful instruments. It has emerged as an invaluable contribution to the study of the Moon. NASA said in its report, “LRO’s camera exposure time was very short, only 0.338 milliseconds, yet the relative high travel velocity between the two spacecraft caused Danuri to appear stretched to more than 10 times its size in the opposite direction of travel.”
