Soon after, Samia started her own bakery called Hazel’s Food and Bakerz, where she offered a variety of cakes made with the finest ingredients. In 2020, she began her online Ramadan series ‘Khaas Hai Ramadan with Chef Samia’ on YouTube.
On 15 March 2016, chef Samia Jamil founded CEBO (Catering and Event Bakers Organization), a non-profit that supports women entrepreneurs by providing exposure to the current market.
In an interview, Samia talked about the motive behind starting CEBO and said,
This group is made to acknowledge the efforts of those women who started their business in hard times and resulted in supporting their families and their male partners very positively. All these women who are watching me or are present with me at this event are warriors for me.”
CEBO supports various home-based food businesses including bakers, caterers, confectioners, and delivery services. It also caters to event planners, photographers, culinary institutes, chefs, food bloggers, print media, and baking tool suppliers. Pakistani women benefit greatly from CEBO’s project. Soon after, Samia hosted a show called “CEBO Lounge” where she interviewed a variety of entrepreneurial guests.
