RJ and Voice-Over Artist
Nandita started her career as Radio Jockey with All India Radio for their Marathi programmes. She also worked as a voice-over artist for many computer-based educational projects.

Theatre
Nandita joined Theatre accidentally. In an interview, she spoke about it and said,
I call myself an accidental actor because I had no plans to make my career in the entertainment industry. I was working in the corporate sector and to satisfy my creativity, I used to do the early morning shows at All India Radio. Later on, I joined a theatre group and realized that this is the correct time to explore my passion.”
She is known for her roles in plays like ‘Wada,’ ‘Iraq,’ ‘Var Khali Don Paye,’ and ‘Jungle Mein Mangal.’

Film
Nandita’s debut film was ‘Elizabeth Ekadashi’ (2014). Later, she worked in other Marathi films such as ‘Daaravatha’ (2015), ‘Lalbaugchi Rani’ (2016), ‘Khari Biscuit’ (2019), ‘Baba’ (2019), and ‘Balbharti’ (2022). Her role in ‘Baba’ was critically acclaimed and nominated for the Film Fare Award Marathi 2020. She also worked in a short film, ‘Butter Chicken’ (2022). This film won Calcutta International Cult Film Festival 2021 – Outstanding Achievement Award and got officially selected for Indian Panorama International Film Festival 2021, 11th Pune Short Film Festival 2021, and Sessions By Lift-Off Global Network 2021.

She has worked in many Marathi TV serials. She debuted in Marathi TV serials with ‘Maze Pati Saubhagyavati’ (2015). She played the lead role of ‘Laxmi’ in this. Then she worked in ‘Tu Maza Sangati.’ At present, she is working in ‘Sahkutumb Sahparivar.’ Her role as ‘Sarita’ got her ‘Sarvotkrsht Vahini Award’ at Star Prawah Puruskar.
