Mishti Chakraborty commenced her film career with her debut movie, ‘Kaanchi: The Unbreakable’ (2014) directed by famous Bollywood director Subhash Ghai, starring renowned actors like Kartik Aaryan , Rishi Kapoor , and Mithun Chakraborty . Subhash Ghai, the director of this movie, often renames his heroines, a name starting with the letter ‘M’ as it represents a mother. Lo and behold, Subhash Ghai gave the then ‘Indrani Chakraborty’ a new name, ‘Mishti’ and she used no other name in any of her movies.
Mishti Chakraborty was also in the limelight for her superhit Telegu debut movie, ‘Chinnadana Nee Kosam’ (2014), directed by A. Karunakaran featuring Nithin Kumar Reddy. Even though with moderate success and mixed reviews, Mishti was unstoppable.
Mishti also made her Malayalam movie debut with ‘Adam Joan’ (2017) directed by Jinu V. Abraham, starring Prithviraj Sukumaran. This movie was a major success in the Malayalam film industry and gave a lot of recognition to Mishti Chakraborty.
