Arvind Singh aka Thakur Arvind Singh aka Arvind Singh Solanki was born on Monday, 17 June 1996 (age 27 years; as of 2023) in Khabra village in Khurja block of Bulandshahr district of Uttar Pradesh, India. His zodiac sign is Gemini. In 2013, he joined the Indian Army after passing 12th standard and was later selected for rowing sport in 2016 due to his athletic body frame.

Rowing
He was introduced to rowing by Indian Olympian Bajrang Lal Takhar. After his selection to the Indian Army rowing team in 2016, he trained under his coach Ismail Baig at the Army Rowing Node in Pune.
He was later partnered with Arjun Lal Jat, and together, they won several medals in various tournaments in the Men’s Light Weight Double Scull (LM2X) category, particularly 2000-metre races. He came 11th in the 2020 Tokyo Olympics. He also qualified for the 18th Asian Games and later for the 19th Asian Games.
Training, Workout, & Diet
Arvind Singh talked about his training schedule in an interview and said that he has three training session throughout the day which includes around three and a half hours in the morning, one and a half hours in the afternoon, and two and a half hours in the evening. He also does strength training and ergometer every day as his maximum permissible weight is 70 kg. He avoids fried food and sweets in his diet and eats parathas on Sundays.
