Arshdeep made his List A match debut in the Vijay Hazare Trophy match held in Alur, Andhra Pradesh on 19 September 2018, in which he took two wickets against Himachal Pradesh. Arshdeep took 7 wickets in the List A match of The NKP Salve Challenger Trophy in 2017.

Arshdeep’s wonderful performances at the junior level resulted in his IPL selection for the 2019 season. In 2018, at the IPL auctions held in Jaipur, he was selected for the base price of Rs. 20 lakhs in the team Kings XI Punjab as a bowler. On 16 April 2019, Arshdeep played his IPL debut match in Mohali against Rajasthan Royals in which he picked 2 wickets of Jos Buttler and Ajinkya Rahane. Arshdeep Singh had a bowling average of 36.33 in the IPL season 2019. Arshdeep was the second-highest wicket-taker during the entire 2019 season.

Arshdeep took 2 final wickets of England in his debut match. Arshdeep Singh was also selected in the team for India vs. West Indies in 2022, where he took 7 wickets and won the ‘Man of the Series’ award and made highlights in his T20I career. In October 2022, he was included in the team for the T20I series against South Africa, where he grabbed 5 wickets and was also awarded the man of the match award.
