Another good news related to ‘Chandrayaan-3 Mission’, Indian scientists made their mark in America

Washington: Another big good news has come related to India’s Chandrayaan-3 mission. The scientists who made the Chandrayaan-3 mission successful have been praised in America. In fact, India’s Chandrayaan-3 mission team has received the prestigious 2024 John L ‘Jack’ Swigert Jr. Award for Space Exploration. India’s Consul General in Houston DC Manjunath received this award on behalf of the Indian Space Research Organization (ISRO) on Monday during the opening ceremony of the annual space symposium in Colorado.

As the first country to land on the south pole of the Moon, the Chandrayaan-3 mission developed by ISRO expands humanity’s space exploration aspirations to new areas for understanding and cooperation, the Space Foundation said in a press release. Space Foundation CEO Heather Pringle said in a statement when the award was announced in January, “India’s leadership in space is an inspiration to the world.”

Heather Pringle said, ‘The pioneering work of the entire Chandrayaan-3 team has once again raised the bar for space exploration. Their remarkable lunar landing is a model for all of us. Congratulations and we can’t wait to see what you do next!’

Let us tell you that in August last year, India created history by successfully soft landing on the south pole of the moon under Mission Chandrayaan-3 and became the first country in the world to land on this region of the moon. This move of ISRO was appreciated all over the world and the whole world acknowledged India’s strength.
