America is not backing down, now it has said- we are also eyeing to freeze the bank accounts of Congress

Despite this, America is not stopping its activities. Now the US State Department has commented on freezing of Congress’ bank accounts. US State Department spokesperson Matthew Miller said that we are also keeping an eye on freezing of Congress’ bank accounts. This statement of America has come at a time when India has expressed strong objection to the comment made on Kejriwal’s arrest.

Despite India’s strong objection, the US State Department has again issued a statement on the arrest of Arvind Kejriwal. US State Department spokesperson Matthew Miller has also issued a statement on freezing of Congress’ bank account. He said that we are closely monitoring the action taken on both the issues. We promote transparent and time-bound legal process in both these cases. Let us tell you that Congress has accused of freezing its bank accounts. Senior Congress leaders had said a few days ago that due to freezing of bank accounts, their leaders are neither able to travel nor campaign for elections. Congress says that due to freezing of bank accounts, there is a shortage of funds.

India said in clear words that it is not at all appropriate to interfere in the internal affairs of other countries.

‘Raising doubts is unwanted’
In the Delhi liquor scam case, the Enforcement Directorate team arrested Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal a few days ago. The US State Department had said on this issue that they are keeping an eye on the entire incident. Now India has strongly objected to this attitude of America. The Foreign Ministry issued a statement saying, ‘We strongly oppose the comment made by the spokesperson of the US State Department on the Indian legal process. In diplomacy, America should respect the sovereignty and internal matters of other countries. In democracy, this responsibility increases further. If this does not happen, it will set a wrong example. India’s legal process is based on an independent judiciary. It is undesirable to doubt it.’
